Honeywell

Honeywell is a leading supplier of specialized integrated circuits for fast-growing aerospace and telecommunications industries, as well as recognized manufacturer of precision Pressure and Magnetic sensors for a variety of commercial applications.
To demonstrate our commitment to the environment, Honeywell has been certified through ISO-14001 and continues to control and mitigate effects of our operations.
In 2008, Honeywell recieved Accreditation of Trust from the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA).

Honeywell offers numerous standard product and Application specific solutions to fit the needs of our Microelectronics & Precision Sensors (M&PS) business:
- Radiation Hardened Electronics includes ICs for electronic computer systems in military satellites, strategic missiles and other space borne system applications. Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) based static memory, FIFO and application specific IC products provide innovative system solutions that require low power and extremely high radiation resistance.
- Magnetic Sensors are based on our anisotropic magnetoresistive thin film technology. A full array of magnetic sensors components offer high sensitivity and are often used to replace fluxgate sensors. Applications include compassing in passenger automobiles, GPS receivers and PDAs, remote vehicle monitoring, traffic and vehicle detection, position sensing, security systems and medical instrumentation.
- Pressure Transducers are based on piezoresistive technology. Our PPT, PPTR, HPB and HPA product sets combine pressure sensors with microcontrollers to achieve less than 0.01% full scale accuracy over temperature with the ability for digital communication using standard protocols. Applications include aircraft instruments, laboratory pressure references, engine test stands, flow computers, barometric pressure instrumentation and altimeters.
- High Temperature Electronics includes electronic components and multi-chip modules for instrumentation and control applications. with each product specified and tested for -55 oC through 225 oC. Our design objective is 3 sigma reliability (99.6%) at 225oC after five years' continuous operation. Applications are found in down hole drilling and turbine engine control.
- Microwave Products are based on our world leading Microwave On Insulator ( MOI) technology. In May 2001 we introduced a new set of integrated RF switch and attenuator products targeted at low power cellular/PCS/GSM base-station and handset applications in the 900Mhz to 2.4GHz frequency bands. Additional products include the worlds highest functionality "Radio On A Chip" and extremely dense optical interconnect transceivers.
