AM1DR-RZ and AM1MR-Z series
Offered in a choice of ultra miniature packages, Aimtec's AM1DR-RZ (SIP7: 19.50 x 7.20 x 9.50mm) and AM1MR-Z (DIP14: 20.30 x 10.16 x 6.90mm) operate at the most commonly designed fixed inputs of 5, 12, and 24VDC (with ±10% tolerance).
Highly regulated and protected output voltages 3.3, 5, 7.2, 9.12, 15VDC feature a tight load regulation of ±0.5% to ensure that stable voltages are delivered throughout the operating range, under all types loading conditions.
Each of the 18 models in the AM1DR-RZ and AM1MR-Z series feature input/output isolation of 1000VDC, allowing these versatile power supplies to be configured for reverse polarity on the output or to be wired in series to create higher output voltages.
Operating within an industrial temperature of -40°C to +85°C without derating, both the AM1DR-RZ and AM1MR-Z series are engineered to meet the IEC 60950-1 standard for use with indoor or outdoor telecommunication networks or cable distribution systems. The components MTBF of greater than 1,500,000 hours further supports their use in applications where access for maintenance is limited or restricted.
AM15C-Z and AM15CW-Z series
Aimtec's newest family of high efficiency (up to 89%), DC/DC converters, AM15C-Z and AM15CW-Z, provide a high power density of 37.5W/in3 in an ultra compact package (1" x 1"), a real estate savings of up to 50% compared to other standard 15 watt converters in the market.
The AM15C-Z series features wide 2:1 input voltages ranges of 9~18V, 18V~36V and 36~75V, while the AM15CW-Z series features ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9V~36V and 18V~75V for use in a large array of industrial and IT applications.
Both series feature highly regulated and protected single and dual output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 15VDC which are precisely controlled with a tight load regulation of ±0.5% for the single output models and ±1% for the dual output models, with no minimum load required. With an I/O isolation of 1600VDC, these robust converters offer the additional output protections of continuous short circuit protection with auto-recovery restart, over current and over voltage protection with a strict line load regulation of ±0.2 %.
Both series are designed to operate within a wide industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, which is essential for ensuring reliable product performance in the extreme weather conditions associated with outdoor applications.
Positive logic remote ON/OFF functionality adds value for portable power applications by helping to conserve the devices precious battery power.
The AM15CW-Z and AM15C-Z series hold a CE mark for the EN55022 class A standard for information technology equipment, and are designed to meet the IEC/EN60950-1 standard for industrial applications.
