These new Aimtec models for the AM1L-NZ (1watt) and AM2L-NZ (2watt) series are offered with input voltages of 5 or 12VDC and either step up or step down to dual separated outputs of 5/5, 9/9, 12/12 or 15/15VDC.
Such dual separated output configurations allow for rapid and dramatic load changes on the two outputs (from 10% to 100% load current) without any degradation to load regulation of either output.
Additional protection from interaction/interference between load circuits is also a feature of dual separated output. Should there be concerns about conducted EMI signals originating from one or both load circuits, the isolation on the converter's outputs will help prevent the EMI signals from being conducted to the other load circuit.
Producing output currents of up to 200mA, with input/output isolation of 1000VDC, at efficiency rates up to 85% allows these versatile converters to help maximize battery lifetime and minimize unwanted heat generation.
Designed within a compact, low profile (17.78 x 17.78 x 6.00mm) package, the AM1L-NZ and AM2L-NZ operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C at full power without derating or forced air cooling, with a start up temperature of -40°C, making these robust converters ideal for outdoor applications.
